Quick Shout Out For The Night

I’m really tired after digging a ditch from Saturday through to today in my front yard, so I’m going to make this one quick.

Outdoor projects:

• Just finished running my sump line to the street (and under a sidewalk!).  This should keep the side yard much cleaner than it has been in a long time.
• Fence is halfway up.  Need to keep on the fence company to make sure they finish this.
• Garden is underway.  Still have some more planting to do, but I have a feeling I’m a week or two away from having a full-fledged garden…
• And to keep it watered?  Rain barrels that I’ve been planning out for at least five or six months.  Two of them!  This is going to be one of my most ambitious projects this summer.
• Front yard landscaping: Almost there.  Everything’s been torn out, and now I just need to put new stuff in.  Anyone have any sustainable plant/tree suggestions?
• Outdoor sound system.  This will be wirelessly linked up to my indoor server, allowing full music control from an extensive library stored somewhere safe.  I’ll have to pipe the sound through the garage to get this one working properly.

If you have any other good advice or ideas that I could use this summer, let me know!  Now I’ll be resting my sore feet to bed for the night; tomorrow begins research on how to build iPhone programs with their SDK.
